The market is most crowded between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM on Christmas Eve (Dec 24), 

Christmas Day (Dec 25), and weekends (Fri–Sun).

Regular group visits do not require reservations, but group leaders are asked to pay close attention

 to safety guidance.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to visit.

The market takes place at Gwanghwamun Square (between the Admiral Yi Sun-sin and King Sejong statues), 
located at 171 Sejong-daero, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

It will operate daily from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with extended hours until midnight on December 31.

The Gwanghwamun Market will be held for a total of 20 days, from Friday, December 12 to Wednesday, 
December 31, 2025.
